In the month of December 2014, the Montrose Colorado real estate market saw a drastic increase in the median price of houses sold in comparison with the previous four years. With the higher prices of homes came a slightly higher median days on the market before the houses were sold. Also, a few less houses sold during December of 2014. The overall numbers for 2014 show positive growth from 2013. In 2014, there were 2 more properties sold, houses were on the market for 2 fewer days, and the median sold price increased $10,000 when compared with 2013 as a whole. These numbers reflect a market that is continually recovering, and doing so at a steady and consistent pace.
